Case History:

 

5 year old female spayed Bouvier des Flandres. Rapid onset of progressive neurologic signs.
Neurologic Examination:

 

Mentation: Dull

Cranial nerves: Left ventral strabismus, vertical nystagmus, possible decreased facial sensation

Gait: Non-ambulatory, able to stand with assistance

Postural reactions: Within normal limits

Reflexes: Within normal limits

M/S: Within normal limits

 

Neuroanatomic Diagnosis: Prosencephalon

 

Imaging Findings:

Hydrocephalus with occipital compression and indenting of the cerebellum. Large tumor noted in the choroid plexus region of the lateral ventricles.
